A bit about us
My name is Rebekah, and this is my husband, Calvin. Back in 2017 and newly married we bought our first dog. Supposedly, he was a cocker spaniel x poodle, hypoallergenic and would be no bigger than 25lbs…we quickly realized he was a big shedder, was going to be bigger then they said (45lbs full grown!), and that he didn’t have as much poodle in him as we thought. Not to mention as soon as we brought him home we noticed he had very stiff joints that he never grew out of…all these things are signs of buying a dog from an unreputable breeder. Despite this, we love our Fitz boy dearly.
I grew up around breeders and always knew I wanted to do the same one day. After our first dog owning experience I knew I wanted to be able to provide quality furry companions to individuals and families. In 2023 on our 6th anniversary, we bought our first Miniature Shorthair Dachshund, Jemma, became a CKC registered kennel and the rest is history!
