How much does a puppy cost
The puppies will range between $2000 and $3000, depending on their markings, colours, and stature (meaning whether they will be good potential show dogs or not).
What do the puppies come with
They will have all their first puppy shots, deworming, and a microchip. We will also send you home with a blanket that smells like the mom and some food.
Do the puppies receive any health testing
The puppies will have their checkups with a vet a few times as a puppy. Both parents are genetically tested so that we can educate anyone buying a puppy on some of the health concerns they may or may not have to watch out for as their puppy grows.
Can these puppies be CKC/AKC registered
Our puppies come from CKC/AKC registered parents, so they are 100% purebred. Each puppy can be registered as well if the owner decides to do so.
When can I bring my puppy home
We find Dachshund puppies do best when sent home at 9 weeks old, which is when we like to hold them till. This gives them time to become more independent and helps them settle into their new home easier.
Are Dachshunds good with kids
Dachshunds fall in the middle when it comes to their comfort around kids. Your best chances for success when purchasing a puppy, especially if you don’t already have kids, is socializing them as much as possible. The more time they spend with them the more comfortable they will be. This is the same for socializing with other adults as well. Another thing that will set Your dog up for success is teaching kids how to properly treat a dog and interact with them so they don’t feel overwhelmed or feel the need to defend themselves.
